The FOUNDATION FOR INNER PEACE, original publisher of "A Course in Miracles," has partnered with CDE Solutions to develop this app as a valuable tool for individuals working on their daily lessons from the Workbook of the Course. Now available in 5 languages (English, French, German, Portuguese, and Spanish).
As a student of the Course, have you ever found yourself studying your lesson in the morning only to forget to review it at the suggested time intervals throughout the day? Have you ever wished for reminders, preset at the required intervals, to help jog your memory? Or perhaps you remember to review a lesson but struggle to recall the exact wording. If any of these situations sound familiar, then this app is designed for you!
In addition to providing convenient access to the full text of the 365 daily lessons from the Course's "Workbook for Students," this app offers built-in reminder alerts that have been preset with specific text to be remembered for each day and time interval as suggested within the lessons. For lessons without specified intervals, you have the flexibility to select your own preferred interval. You can even customize the intervals according to your daily schedule. The app is user-friendly and straightforward. Simply select the lesson from a rotating wheel, and when it lands on your lesson of the day, click on "Full Text" to access the complete lesson's text. The selected lesson will be saved for your next visit, allowing you to review the previous lesson or proceed with your daily lesson. The complete Workbook, including Introductions, can be accessed from the wheel. Throughout the day, when a reminder alert sounds, you'll be presented with shortened text—specific words suggested within the Workbook lesson to serve as reminders for that day. You have the freedom to customize these reminder words as desired. Additionally, you can select your preferred reminder sound, start time, and end time.

About "A Course in Miracles":
The Course emphasizes the practice of forgiveness as the key to inner peace and remembering God. While the app includes the full text of the "Workbook for Students," it represents only part of the Course—a unique self-study metaphysical thought system.
"A Course in Miracles" is published as a single volume, consisting of three separate sections: "Text," "Workbook for Students," and "Manual for Teachers." The "Text" section establishes the theoretical concepts of the Course's thought system, providing a necessary framework to understand the meaning of the exercises in the Workbook. Therefore, it is important to engage with the lessons in this app alongside the writings of "A Course in Miracles."
"A Course in Miracles" was received over a period of seven years by psychologist Dr. Helen Schucman through an inspired process she referred to as scribing. In 1975, Dr. Schucman chose the Foundation for Inner Peace, co-publisher of this app, to be the publisher of the original edition of "A Course in Miracles."
The "Workbook for Students" in this app contains 365 lessons designed to systematically train your mind to perceive everyone and everything in the world differently. As stated in the Workbook's Introduction: "The exercises are very simple. They do not require much time, and you can do them anywhere. No preparation is needed." You are only recommended to do one exercise per day, but you may choose to spend more time on a lesson that particularly resonates with you.
